Jason Jay, Founder and CCO of Contender Studio / JSNJAY Design Inc., where he oversees the creative and strategic direction of the company.
Jason Jay (JSNJAY) is a BIPOC Toronto-based Designer / Artist, Creative Consultant, Entrepreneur, Teacher, Martial Artist, and Hip-Hop Enthusiast. Throughout his career, he has produced award-winning design & art direction for various clients, including SMBs and multinational corporations. Jason is at the forefront of the design industry and has experience with the biggest sports brands in the world. Graduate of the York University / Sheridan College Joint Program in Design. He received his Bachelor of Design Honours Degree (B.Des 2010) since then he has been working in the professional industry for nearly 15 years.
His main goal is to help athletic brands connect with people and create legacy through design. Leading design excellence to elevate brand and user experiences focused on innovation and creativity.

ROUND 1 | GAMEPLAN
The discovery round focuses on attaining alignment through brand strategy sessions. Understanding the client’s goals and identifying their customers to know how to design for their target and achieve creative solutions faster.
ROUND 2 | PLAY
This round focuses on the development of different solutions through rapid prototyping. The goal is to create a focused exploration of concepts and ideas.
ROUND 3 | DESIGN
Round 3 focuses on diving deeper and developing more concrete design concepts.
ROUND 4 | REFINE
This round narrows down and selects a design to iterate and refine. Iteration is key in the design process to build out the entire design system.
ROUND 5 | DELIVER
The Final Round, we deliver the design system, and give you a knock-out design to connect with your clients.
